Each quarter, we conduct an Engage Mentoring LIVE event, featuring successful leaders across the country who share their perspective on leadership and mentoring. I had the great pleasure of interviewing Pamela Morris-Thornton for our first Engage Mentoring LIVE session.
Pamela Morris-Thornton, a St. Louis native, is Vice President, Corporate Human Resources, for Panera LLC. She leads the HR Business Partner function, Talent Acquisition and Diversity, and Inclusion Strategy and Initiatives.
She has 20+ years of progressive human resources experience in various industries and is a seasoned professional with proven effectiveness in strategic partnering with senior executives and business leaders on a range of topics, in addition to providing coaching and counseling to all levels of management in a multi-state operation.
Pamela’s current outside interests include holding leadership roles in local chapters of her sorority’s alumni association, volunteering with a youth leadership development organization, and serving on the board of the St. Louis Community College Foundation.
She holds a Master’s in Human Resources Management from Webster University, Webster Groves, MO, and a Bachelor of Science in Speech Pathology from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville.
