Each quarter, the Engage Mentoring Executive Talent Roundtables meet and have a focused discussion on a topic related to attracting, retaining, and developing talent.

At our upcoming Engage Mentoring Executive Talent Roundtable meeting, the focus topic will be Corporate Social Responsibility and the impact on talent attraction and retention. To prepare for the discussion, I had the pleasure of sitting down with Dora Lutz, CSR Expert and author of The Aspirational Business.

Some of the topics we discussed included the importance of corporate social responsibility, while building purpose and profits. The resulting discussions stemming from this interview were lively and robust. Beyond just a “right thing to do,” CSR programs done strategically are a powerful tactic for attracting, retaining, and developing talent, particularly young talent.
